He is heard: Driver Markus Trojak on stage

IAA Transportation 2022

From the truck to the limelight.

Markus Trojak is known to many RoadStars members: The Schröder-Kießling-Spedition (SKS GmbH) employee was on the road for Daimler Truck AG as a test driver and told us about this at RoadStars. In Hanover, he stood on the stage of the Mercedes‑Benz Trucks trade fair stand. His topic: The new powertrain in the Actros.

Markus Trojak had already tested the new Actros with a newly configured powertrain and a new engine, the third generation OM 471, back in spring. In addition to efficiency and power, what impressed him about the further development: "Someone listened to us carefully and implemented what we drivers needed."

He was thrilled by the handling in the roundabout, for example: "How it runs cleanly and without jerking is simply top notch."

The newly configured powertrain also means that the engine reacts even more spontaneously to the accelerator. As a result, driving uphill, for example, becomes much smoother. An important point for Markus: "I drove the Actros uphill, downhill and was totally blown away."

After his appearance, many guests were looking to talk to him.

Markus’ appearance was convincing – and the "question time" continues next to the stage. Will Markus soon have his own stage show outside the trade fair?
