A man for the eActros: Project Coordinator Werner Kempfle

IAA Transportation 2022

It rolls on with him.

Werner Kempfle has been looking after the eActros for four years. He explained what this means to us at the IAA Transportation in Hanover.

HIgh-powered: Werner Kempfle and his colleagues drove eight battery-powered eActros at the IAA Transportation in Hanover. They actually drove the trucks into the hall right up to the Mercedes‑Benz Trucks trade fair stand – that was practically "eActros up close". Visitors who had registered were even allowed to take a lap in front of the trade fair gates. Well instructed by Werner Kempfle, who knows the vehicle inside out.

For zero emission.

His official job title: Project coordinator for zero-emission vehicles. He has been working in the e-mobility field for four years. "I think it's exciting." Werner Kempfle checks where there are problems with the electric vehicle and then brings them back to the development department.

As a side note: After the end of the trade fair, it was Werner Kempfle who brought the eActros LongHaul long-haul truck back to the factory in Wörth.
