A truck tailor-made for every job: the Meiller skip loader based on the Antos

“In the case of municipal and private waste disposal companies, safety, efficiency and convenience of operation are of particular importance on vehicles. That is why, in our co-operation with Mercedes‑Benz Trucks, our concepts focus on one question: how can we facilitate the driver's everyday work? Feedback from customers is incorporated into the development of our products.

Our newly revised skip loaders have, for example, an automatic speed control that only increases the engine speed when it is necessary – that reduces emissions.

And this is where an important aspect of our co-operation with Mercedes‑Benz Trucks comes to the fore: as a series-production supplier we have access to a lot of vehicle information, are thus well-experienced with interfaces and in the end complement a coherent overall concept.

A close co-operation from development to sales, characterises both companies. We provide support to each other in the form of training and technical advice regarding customer queries. At the Application Information Centre (BIC) in Wörth we are able to present our bodies to interested parties. Presentations and explanations from competent personnel on site make the BIC valuable to us as a body manufacturer – and unique in this form.
