The series.

Mercedes‑Benz built the SK 1722 in the first series from 1989 to 1994. The 1722 is a medium-weight class truck (MK – Mittlere-Klasse). The distinction between the heavy-weight SK (Schwere Klasse) and the MK was small in this case – the cab of the MK was identical to that of the SK, but the frame was a little lighter. The 160 kW (218 HP) two-axle truck can transport a total weight of 17 tonnes.
