A strong symbol of confidence. Traditional design meets cutting-edge technology: the 2008 Trust Edition.
At the 2008 International Motor Show, Mercedes‑Benz first revealed its “Trucks you can trust” brand promise, presenting a show truck that instantly attracted a highly receptive audience: the Actros Trust Edition.
Mercedes‑Benz Trucks commissioned Proceda – a construction, model‑making and design company based in Weissach near Stuttgart – to manufacture the truck.

Allusions to the past and state-of-the-art technology come together in a design that embodies the true value and sustainable nature of Mercedes‑Benz trucks. The colour scheme is typical of commercial vehicles from the time of Germany’s economic miracle in the 1950s. Chrome parts, refined details and premium materials provide a high‑quality, modern touch. Classic truck green encounters satin‑finish black aprons and an oxblood red chassis complemented with matching decorative strips. The rims of the front and rear axles are painted in matt black, while the hubs are in oxblood red. The Chrome Package on the grille is a nod to contemporary style.
The roof-mounted headlamp holder and the aerodynamic side trim panels are tailor-made for this model. The leather cover for the fifth-wheel coupling is another unique feature.
Back in 2008, the front mirror was removed and replaced by a front camera in the cab. For the finishing touch, the truck proudly bears its name in chromed lettering on the front and side-trim panels.
Inside the cab, the dark-red leather on the steering wheel, door panels, stowage compartments and seats catches the eye. The Trust Edition carpeting on the engine tunnel and floor mats is no less impressive. The bed also sports an Alcantara quilted cover featuring a honeycomb pattern.
Allusions to the past: the lettering provides a vintage look.

In den Achtzigern fuhr mein Vater bei einer grossen Spedition, dessen kubischen MB ( " Adventskalender " ) in diesem GRÜN lackiert waren.
Da kamen schon ein paar Erinnerungen hoch ...
