Arocs 3240 with a Liebherr mixer in operation at Transbeton

Service

“They live their product.”

Reinhold Brehm, Managing Director of Transbeton, is a true fan of the Arocs. For him, what is also decisive is the service of his dealership and the opportunity to thoroughly test new vehicles including bodies at the Application Information Centre.

“We are service providers. So, to put it bluntly: if we can't keep our quality promise, we have a problem. Two, to be precise. In addition to dissatisfied customers, if there are delays the concrete can harden in the drum. That is what determines our range for delivery routes around our two works at Laupheim/Äpfingen and Biberach. Of course, the equipment and tools we use are just as important. At the moment we have 20 cement mixers in our fleet, and only one of those doesn't have a three-pointed star. We're sold on the Arocs from Mercedes‑Benz. Top of the list is its reliability. Also, the vehicle is economical and frugal, and our drivers are really keen on the trucks too.

For us in the cement business, maintenance contracts and the dense service network are important: they mean we can rely on help coming quickly if there's an emergency. What I find really important is being able to talk one-to-one on site. I'm in good hands with my regional Mercedes‑Benz dealer, and I think that's one of the great strengths of the Application Information Centre (BIC) in Wörth. Not only that there are interesting vehicles complete with Liebherr bodies right there that my drivers and I can test. The sales staff there place as much importance as I do on personal, individual customer care. For me, that sums up Mercedes‑Benz: they live their product!”
