In scanner view while on the road: At the IAA Transportation trade fair in Hanover, RoadStars member, Udo Brill, took a close look at the eActros and Edition 3 at the Mercedes‑Benz Trucks trade fair stand – and even went on a test drive. What did he think of it?

Unusual start to a visit at the IAA for Udo Brill: Early in the morning, the RoadStars ticket winner got behind the wheel of an eActros, but that's not all: He also enjoyed a spin around the exhibition grounds in this urban logistics transporter. And came back with an enthusiastic smile on his face. Acceleration, driving dynamics, coasting without an accelerator or brake, during which the eActros could keep at a constant speed. This man from the North Hesse region was completely won over. “With its performance, handling, operation, the vehicle is just fantastic,” he said in praise. “I wouldn't have expected that.”

The Actros L Edition 3, limited to just 400 models, attracting visitors with its luxurious comfort and design and its exquisite fittings, was also a trade fair hit for Udo. "The interior lighting, the sound quality of the radio, the leather seats... all absolutely spot on!” he enthused. “I could easily get used to sitting in here!”

He also enjoyed a stop-by at the eActros LongHaul, honoured with the Truck Innovation Award, which offers a range of up to 500 kilometres without additional recharging, and which will be ready for series production from 2024, as well as an exciting comparison of the sounds made by the eActros and the Actros L.

Innovations such as these got many trade fair visiting dreaming. However, Udo still has one more wish: better infrastructure for electric vehicles.
