The Antos was built specifically for the requirements of industries with high payload needs. From the radiator grille to the windscreen and even the end crossmember – numerous components and equipment features were weight-optimised. That's why the Antos is among the lightest and most economical trucks available for heavy-duty distribution haulage. It makes the vehicle particularly well-suited to transporting fuels and other refinery products. The refinery at Heide in northern Germany alone produces around 4.5 million tonnes annually – predominantly crude oil from the North Sea.
