The SK: the classic for generations

Classic vehicles

Great class.

Hardly any other truck has made such a lasting impression as the Schwere Klasse ("heavy class"; SK). In 1988, the series' first trucks rolled off the production line. For many drivers, it is the vehicles in which they accompanied their fathers or took their first trips themselves. We have already presented some of them – here is a selection.

Lucky fellow.

Lucky fellow.

What a coincidence: Sascha Schwiertnia found his father’s long-lost SK 1722 again – and immediately bought it back.

Grandpa’s most powerful truck.

Uwe Harms collects vintage trucks – exactly the ones he is familiar with from his grandfather’s haulage business. The 1735 SK generated the most power by far.

Almost five digits.

Almost five digits.

Anton and Alexander Hotz were actually looking for a three-axle tipper to expand their business. But they simply couldn't pass up the two-axle SK 1824 all-wheel drive tipper built in 1994.

All charged up.

All charged up.

Daniel Jendroska took the leap into self-employment. With the SK 1748, the classic car fan has an everyday classic in his fleet.

A truck connects.

A truck connects.

When his father’s former company vehicle, an SK 1722 (MK), was "retired", Thomas Nieswandt snapped it up.
