The wait is over – the pilot episode of our ‘Truckumentaries’ video series has launched!

We’re thrilled to announce the pilot episode of our documentary ‘Truckumentaries’ series is live. Covering the topic of driver retention, it features interviews with drivers and transport managers. Watch it now!

Highlighting real driver issues.

A big thank you to Chiltern Cold Storage, KRP Trucking and Lombard Express for featuring in our pilot episode. We loved listening to real drivers and transport managers discuss the issues drivers and haulage companies are facing every day, as well as the reasons why they got into the industry in the first place.

As those in the industry know, driver shortage is a serious problem, and it was interesting to find out how these companies are trying to tackle the problem and appeal to the younger generation.

We look forward to learning more from real people on the road.

Excellent film, the youth is where the focus is req’d. The MD’s are right look after your drivers and they will look after your trucks & customers, however it’s jnr management that needs training to treat drivers in a civil and respectful way.

I thought this was a very good video,but it was really made to focus on the new driver,i know there is a shortage of drivers,and thats the main reason we have so many foreighn drivers hitting our bridges,but i honestly think that anyone from anywhere who drives a lorry,especially if you are driving with a high load,then you must be able to not only speak but read English,i think the system does not go far enough on that score,i have been a driver all my life and i have driven many Mercedes trucks and i have always loved the Mercedes,and my last few jobs i drove car transporters and i was running at 16 feet 2 inches many times.
