The eActros RoadShow

ROADSHOW

Fully electric test drives especially for truckers.

The eActros JOURN.e will make a stop in Innsbruck on 17 May 2023. To mark this occasion, Daimler Truck Austria is organising an event specifically for drivers – the eActros RoadShow.

The eActros puts an enthusiastic smile on Rebecca Hollerer’s face.

JOURN.e.

Three eActros trucks are touring a total of five countries, covering more than 3,700 kilometres. As part of the JOURN.e, drivers can experience the alternative Mercedes‑Benz Trucks drive systems in the form of two eActros 300s and one eActros 400 and test them on the road themselves at various stops in Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands.

The JOURN.e team will be stopping at the Bergisel in Innsbruck on 17 May 2023 and the lucky winners of the RoadStars competition can look forward to a varied eMobility programme.

After detailed technical instruction, the first drivers will take their seat behind the wheel of the two eActros 300s and test them extensively on a one‑hour test drive heading towards Axamer Lizum. On the way from the ski area back to the location, a lot of energy can be recovered by recuperating downhill. The range, the easy handling and the low noise level in the cab amaze the drivers.

RoadStars challenges.

While the first drivers are testing the electric Mercedes‑Benz Trucks drive systems on the road, the rest of the group can expect various RoadStars challenges that require knowledge, speed, skill and creativity. However, the focus is always on having fun.

Bergisel Ski Jump.

After a relaxed lunch at the Restaurant 1809 atop the Bergisel, there is a visit to the ski jump. The RoadStars of the eActros RoadShow are guided by the former ski jumper Julian Wackernell, who provides interesting insights through his experience in the sport.

Thank you very much!

We would like to thank the drivers for their active participation and their openness to the eMobility topic! We wish the JOURN.e team further successful events and a safe journey to their next stops.
